    • Session 5 - Mechanisms under the Budapest Convention
    • Session 6 - Informal methods of international cooperation
    • Session 7 - Utilizing electronic evidence
    • Session 8 - Challenges faced 
    • Session objectives: 

      • Reviewing the general provisions of international cooperation and mutual assistance under the Budapest Convention 
      • Reviewing the specific provisions of international cooperation and mutual assistance under the Budapest Convention
      • Discussing provisions of Second Additional Protocol to the Budapest Convention 
      • Understanding how to use different mechanisms under the Budapest Convention to seek cooperation
      • Introduction to different templates for MLA requests
    • Session objectives: 

      • to understand differences between formal and informal mutual legal assistance in criminal matters.
      • to get additional information and knowledge about International Organizations and Networks for Cybercrime organization, setup and competencies.
      • to additionally analyse and understand implementation of the Council of Europe Cybercrime Convention Article 35.
      • to raise awareness about some of the local national solutions for suppression of the cybercrime and mutual legal assistance with that regards.
    • Session objectives: 

      • to refresh and expand knowledge about types of electronic evidence typical for Mutual Legal Assistance requests and exchange.
      • to expand knowledge about types of the authorities competent to participate in Mutual Legal Assistance.
      • to understand difference between MLA Central Authority and Executing Authority and hybrid systems.
      • to understand what are MLA procedural competencies for different authorities.
      • to learn about possible steps and variations of steps undertaken during MLA proceeding by different competent authorities.
      • to actively participate in case study analysis by applying previously adopted knowledge and skills.
      • to have improvement on overall knowledge of Mutual Legal Assistance regarding electronic evidence acquisition proceedings.
    • Session objectives: 

      • Recognise key challenges associated with international cooperation with respect to cybercrime and electronic evidence.
      • Identify practical implications posed by the key challenges associated with international cooperation.
      • Explore possible solutions to address the challenges associated with international cooperation.
